Young Constructors Network of Washington DC – A division of the Washington Contractors Association

The Future of Our Industry Starts Here.

The Young Constructors Network (YCDC) is WCA’s hub for rising leaders: early- and mid-career professionals with 10 or less years in the industry, who are ready to grow, connect, and make their mark in the DC construction and real estate community.

YCDC Offers Opportunities to:

  • Build Your Network: Connect with peers and industry veterans.
  • Develop Leadership Skills: Participate in exclusive workshops and events.
  • Shape the Future: Get involved in shaping the future of WCA and our industry.
  • Give Back: Engage in community and philanthropic initiatives.

With signature events throughout the year, you’ll always find new ways to connect and grow, including:

  • Pathways to the Top: Conversations with industry leaders about their journeys to executive leadership.
  • Annual Happy Hour & Networking Night at Nationals Park: The ultimate summer meetup with our partner organizations.
  • Trivia Night: A fun and competitive night of networking filled with brains and laughs.
  • CANstruction: Where creativity meets community impact, building large-scale structures to help feed the area homeless shelters.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Site Tours: Frequent jobsite walk-throughs at some of the most exciting projects shaping our city.

Whether you’re a project manager, estimator, subcontractor, or just starting in the field, YCDC is where you find your people, your mentors, and your path forward.

If you’re ready to lead the future of construction in DC, the Young Constructors Network is where you belong!
