This event brings together the region’s leading general contractors, specialty contractors, owners, designers, and industry partners to celebrate the projects, teams, and individuals who are shaping the future of the built environment across the DMV.

This year, we’ve made significant updates based on Member feedback, including an earlier awards gala, an updated submission calendar, and a simplified application process. These improvements ensure a smoother, more accessible experience for all participants, while elevating the quality, fairness, and visibility of each award category.

Project Completion Window:
All construction project submitted must have been substantially completed between: October 1, 2024 – December 31, 2025. Projects completed outside this window are not eligible for 2026 Awards consideration.
To submit for any award, companies must be a WCA Member in Good Standing.
Meaning, your 2026 Membership Dues must be paid no later than February 1, 2026.
Members may renew or join during the awards submission process.
To ensure equal visibility and proper judging time, submissions must adhere to the following timeline:
Standard Deadline (on-time submission)
Due: December 31, 2025
All entries and regular entry fees must be submitted by this date.
Late Entry Window
WCA will accept late submissions through: January 16, 2026
Late submissions will incur a $50 late fee per entry.
No submissions accepted after January 16, 2026.
